What do you think the meaning of this poem is?

I was never very good at yzing poetry, but here goes. Well, the italicized part is obviously a prayer. I believe the prayer is actually in the background. She is in a church, so it's being said by someone else. It's irony that she is in the bathroom of a church sad and depressed, in the midst of prayer. I am not sure if they are trying to be literal or metaphorical or both. Anyway, her soul and body are both slowly dying. Ironically, the last line of the prayer is "especially for those who have died." She is slowly dying.
