Most "pit bull" attacks, aren't done by pit bulls, they are done by pit bull types. There are over 20 breeds categorized as "pit bulls", including boxers. As long as your neighbor socializes the dog, everything will be fine. All dogs need socialization and training, not just pit or pit types.
