What colour dress goes with purple pumps?

I have Steve Madden Trinitie pumps in plum [http://eshoespot.com/steve-madden-trinitie-plum-suede-shoes/295/] and i've only worn them once with a plain black dress. But i was wondering what other colour desses would work with this colour? if the link doesn't work, it's kind of an orchid purple :]
