Who else thinks Obama should try something like this instead of TARP II?

No thanks. People who "bought" houses they knew they couldn't afford were taking a gamble, and sometimes gambles don't pay off. I'd rather have my tax dollars used in a (possibly futile) effort to bring the US into the 21st century where education, science, and technology actually matter. Throwing good money after bad doesn't get us there.
