I want to write a story- help please?

I'm sorry my last question wasn't clear. But the type of book I'd like to write is adventure, fight scenes, good and evil, maybe even magic. Something almost along the lines of narnia. I want there to be some romance between two of the main characters. I was thinking about making one of the main characters kind of like Edmund. But just in the way that he is sometimes just pushed to the side and never really acknowledged.
