Why won't the number keypad work?

Have you tried rebooting your computer? Maybe the system isn't properly recognizing the keyboard. Or if you've already done that, try unplugging it, wait about 10-20 seconds, then plug it back in. If that still doesn't work, then it may be a faulty keyboard, sometimes that can happen.
